Progress Project #1

This photo was taken two days ago where I continue my project on refurbish the gate and the pile. I use my dad's water jet this time which helps me a lot faster on getting the gates done. Probably I would continue spray the gap between the piles too later on so it would look nicer, I guess.

And two days later which is today I continue again doing the rest before a few days off.

Rest In Peace

After spending a few good hours in Terasi, me and my mrs. went back to 11th mile to pick up mom and dad, to visit our relatives in Demak Laut. My mom's nephew, Jackson Tan, initially my second cousin as our grandma are sisters, just lost his son forty days ago. So last night, they held a rosary prayer in remembering the late Daniel Tan.

God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
Your providence guides our lives,
and by Your command we return to dust.

Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family,
relatives and friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.

In company with Christ,
Who died and now lives,
may they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Amen.

Outdoor Photo Session

I receive a text from my ex-boss wife last week asking if I can organize a photo session for them as they're going to celebrate their 15th anniversary in two weeks time and I just say yes why not. So after we discuss on the location, we decided to held the session this morning in Chinatown. It was rainy, as predicted but everything goes well as planned. We even have a good morning walk along the Waterfront and continue our session before we wrap it up in Indah Cafe.

I won't disclosed all the pictures taken today ya but I would love to show you guys this one photo that I really like. Thank you Mr. Harun & wife for having me as your camera-man & happy anniversary!

Samuel Thanks Giving Dinner

I've known Samuel Rishindra ever-since we're just kids way back in 1997, attending the same primary school. Its been like more than 20 over years I know this guy that use to have that Nick Carter haircut haha! We still keep in touch after high school although we did't hang out as often as before.

So yesterday, me and my wife was invited to his thanks giving dinner - as for he is now officially a married man legally. The dinner was held in Kuching Park Hotel, the same hotel that I did my wedding reception. As usual, I got to meet and catch up with few good friends. We went back quite early last night because I have a photo session with my ex-boss the next morning. Here are few shots of last night ceremony.

Again, Sam if your reading this, welcome to club and always remember the mantra I share with you. I wish you all the best in your life and friends forever brother! Thanks for inviting us, God Bless you.

Project #1

I decided to refurbish our front gate and its pillar starting tomorrow. The main reason for this actually was to get rid of the spider web because they usually end up on our front gate. At first I thought maybe its just temporary but it started to irritate both of us.

So, my wife did her research on how to get rid of the spider web and most of the sites advising us to keep our compound inside and out clean and organize. It doesn't mean that our house is messy just that we keep minimal amount of possession.

It may take me quite sometime to get it done but I'll try my best to finish them off before September.

If you have any suggestion regarding the spider web please do leave comment below.

Nombre Uno

This post was written less than 24 hours after my nephew was born. My brother and his wife haven't decide his name yet so I go for a code name. Kai was born yesterday, the same month his parent got married, the same month his uncle Kenny was born and also got married jyeah! So, here is a closer look on baby Kai.

Fyi, Kai is the first grandchild of Edgar & Betty, so his arrival was pretty much awaited for us this year ever-since his mother announced her pregnancy last year. Thank God everything went well for the mother and child.
